Earlier, Beverley said the depiction of the incident was “not fair at all” to him because the Bucks “asked for help” from security in the arena after the exchange with the fan went on “all night.”
Beverley initially threw a ball into the stands that hit a woman, who didn’t appear to be his intended target, in the head. When another fan tossed the ball back to him, he responded by throwing it hard at that fan.

Security intervened to deescalate the situation, but Beverley and the fan appeared to keep exchanging words before it ended.
Beverley didn’t elaborate about what happened while speaking to reporters in the locker room: “Nah, don’t worry about that. Nothing.”
Bucks head coach Doc Rivers pulled his remaining starters from the game with 2:32 remaining in the fourth quarter with his team trailing by 20 points.
Thursday’s loss ended Milwaukee’s season in the first round of the playoffs for the second consecutive year. The team hasn’t advanced past the second round since defeating the Phoenix Suns in the 2021 NBA Finals.
Beverley played a game-high 40 minutes, scoring six points and dishing out five assists. He joined the Bucks on Feb. 8 in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.
